I Wish I Had Two Hands Doing The Same Thing...

Sometimes I wonder if I'll ever come to a place where spending regular time with the Lord will be a consistency. My whole life I'll lived in between mountain tops, where I'm walking and talking with God everyday, and valleys where my selfish nature rules. A wise man of God once told me that as you walk with the Lord the gap between your mountains and valleys will begin to shorten. I believe that is true, but I also think about what Paul says in scripture, "I do the things I don't want to do".

Lately I've heard this song on the radio, I can't remember who sings it but the words say, "I use one hand to pull You closer. The other to push You away. If I had two hands, doing the same thing. Lifted High". That really speaks to me, I know my security in the Lord will never change but most of the time I wonder why He puts up with me. I guess His ways and just higher than mine, Thank-you Lord...
