Captain Lewis

Probably the best person on my "Upper Valley" beat, is Captain Randy Lewis. He's a weathered cop for the Rexburg Police Department, and the kindest guy you'll ever meet. Get in with him, and you've pretty much got the whole town.

Last week I covered a road wreck where a trailer crashed into a power pole. Lewis always takes a camera with him to the scene, he's supposed to be taking pictures of the accident. Later that day my bosses got an e-mail full of pictures of me! I guess he was just letting them know I really do my job.

Anyway they're actually the first pictures I have of me as a reporter.
